One of the largest and the most important cities in southern India, Hyderabad (హైదరాబాద్) is the capital city of Telangana State, located in the south-central part of the country. It is one of the most populated and largest metropolitan areas not just in India but in the whole region. An important center of culture, economy, trade, social life, and education, the city of Hyderabad has an important strategic location in the highlands of the central part of the Indian Subcontinent. The city was established in the late 16th century by a group of local rich people led by the Emperor of the Qutb Shahi Dynasty. Since the very beginning, the city was developing and expanding really fast and shortly after became the capital of the same name state which later on turned into what is now known as Telangana state.

Hyderabad is a really large community with a number of residents compatible with the ones of some states of the USA like Arizona or Massachusetts.
