Levi’s Stadium: Home of the San Francisco 49ers

Levi’s Stadium is a famous stadium with natural grass in Santa Clara, California, United States, located at 4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way in the San Francisco Bay Area. The stadium is situated close to California’s Great America and South Bay Shores. It is only 4.5 miles from San Jose Mineta International Airport, 7.5 miles northwest of downtown San Jose, and approximately 40 miles south of San Francisco. It can be easily reached via the Great America Light Rail Station. Opened to the public on July 17, 2014, the stadium has a capacity of 68,500 people. It was designed by HNTB and named after Levi Strauss & Co. in 2013. The stadium hosted its first game on August 2, 2014, a soccer match between the San Jose Earthquakes and Seattle Sounders FC. Levi’s Stadium has been home to the San Francisco 49ers (NFL) since 2014.

Levi’s Stadium hosted the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, a college football event, between 2014 and 2019. It has hosted many notable events, such as WrestleMania 31, the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, and Super Bowl 50. It will also host several games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Many artists and bands have performed at Levi’s Stadium as well, including One Direction, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Coldplay, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, and AC/DC.

Super Bowl LX is scheduled to be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.
