Richfield in Utah is the largest city in the region and the seat of Sevier County, known for its agricultural and industrial fields. It is located in the southern-central part of the state, quite far away from big cities, and has spectacular mountainous surroundings offering beautiful views. Settled in 1864, founded by Albert Lewis, and named for "rich fields of wheat", the city is also known as "Red Hill Country" or "Panoramaland". Richfield Municipal Airport, Interstate 70 and U.S. Route 89 serve the area. It is home to the headquarters for Fishlake National Forest. Local attractions include Richfield City Park, Rotary Park, a tennis court, a football field, and a few hotels.
