A city in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States, Sauk Centre is known as the birthplace of author Sinclair Lewis, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1930. The city is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area, located at the intersection of Interstate 94 and U.S. Route 71, on the shores of Sauk Lake, and 106 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Minnesota State Highway 28 also serves the area. It was settled in 1856 and incorporated as a city in 1889.

- The Sinclair Lewis Boyhood Home is one of the major attractions in the city, situated at 812 Sinclair Lewis Avenue. It was built in 1889 in the Gothic Revival style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Novelist Sinclair Lewis lived in this house from 1889 until 1902. It is also a National Historic Landmark. Sauk Centre inspired Sinclair Lewis' most famous book, Main Street. The building was restored and today it serves as a historic house museum.
- The Palmer House is a historic hotel, located at 500 Sinclair Lewis Avenue. It was built in 1901 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designated as a contributing property to the Original Main Street Historic District on August 5, 1994. It serves as a hotel and has a restaurant and a pub.
- The Minnesota Home School for Girls is situated at 310 U.S. Route 71. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Minnesota Home School for Girls Historic District. It was designed by Clarence H. Johnston Sr., established in 1911, and closed in 1999.
- The Original Main Street Historic District spans ten blocks along Main Street, located in downtown Sauk Centre. The street was an inspiration for Sinclair Lewis' most famous book. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
