It stars Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Farina, Vinnie Jones, Robbie Gee, and Jason Flemyng. It was released on 23 August 2000 (United Kingdom), 19 January 2001 (United States), and grossed $83.6 million worldwide. The film is similar to Ritchie's first film, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It won the 2001 Empire Awards for "Best British Director" and "Best British Actor" (Vinnie Jones). Snatch is regarded as one of the best British films of all time.
