The film stars Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Sophie Rundle, Tim Roth, Ned Dennehy, Ian Peck, Packy Lee, Jay Lycurgo, Barry Keoghan, and Stephen Graham. It is scheduled for release on 6 March 2026 in the United Kingdom, followed by a worldwide release on Netflix on 20 March 2026. Steven Knight and Cillian Murphy serve among the film’s producers.
Set during World War II, the story follows Tommy Shelby as he returns to a bombed Birmingham, drawn into secret missions and forced to confront his past.
Filming took place on location in Birmingham, primarily at Digbeth Loc. Studios Limited on Montague Street. Additional locations included Watson Street Works at Canal Street, Saint Helens. Principal photography began on 30 September 2024 and concluded on 13 December 2024.
