In the Grey Locations

In the Grey is an American action drama movie from acclaimed director Guy Ritchie. Starring a talented cast including Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, Rosamund Pike, Eiza González, Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Kojo Attah, and Jason Wong, the film follows two extraction specialists tasked with planning an escape route for a senior female negotiator.

Written, directed, and co-produced by legendary Guy Ritchie, the film was shot between September 2023 and October 2023. This project marks Eiza González’s second collaboration with co-stars Rosamund Pike, Henry Cavill, and Jake Gyllenhaal. She previously starred alongside Gyllenhaal in the 2022 film Ambulance, with Cavill in the 2024 film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and with Pike in the 2020 film I Care A Lot.

Filming Locations: Tenerife and the Canary Islands

In the Grey was filmed on location in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is a volcanic island that adds an authentic atmosphere to the film. The movie used several real-life locations, including the Real Casino de Tenerife in Plaza de la Candelaria. Additional filming took place in San Andrés, a coastal village in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, nestled at the base of the Anaga Mountains. Some scenes of the film were shot at Playa de Las Teresitas.
