Deming, nicknamed Rock-Hunters Paradise, is a city in New Mexico, United States, located 180 kilometers northwest of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. It serves as the seat of Luna County. The city is served by Interstate 10, Route 26, Deming Train Station, and Deming City Airport. The city was founded in 1881, incorporated in 1902, and named after Mary Deming Crocker. Deming was used as a filming location in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Two Men in Town, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Rockhound State Park is known for its quartz crystals, geodes, and features hiking trails, campgrounds, showers, restrooms, and a visitor center. The state park was established in 1965 and covers an area of 1,100 acres (4.5 km²). When it opened in 1966, the park became the first in the country to allow visitors to collect rocks and minerals for their own use. Basin Range Geolapidary Museum is situated nearby. Other attractions include the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum, Florida Mountains Wilderness Study Area, and Memorial Stadium.
