Enterprise is a city located in Coffee and Dale counties, southeastern Alabama, United States. Settled in 1881, founded by John Henry Carmichael in 1896, the city has a total area of 31.02 sq mi (80.35 km2). It is home to The Boll Weevil Monument, which was erected in 1919. It is the only monument to an insect in the world. The city is home to Enterprise State Community College. It also hosts the BamaJam Music Festival. Tourist attractions in the city are The Enterprise Public Library, the Depot Museum, Johnny Henderson Family Park, Clark Cinema 10 - A Luxury Seating Theatre, etc. Enterprise is 9 miles west of Fort Rucker, which is home to U.S. Army Aviation Museum. Enterprise Municipal Airport is located to the southwest of the city. Alabama State Routes 27, 134, 167, and U.S. Route 84 pass through the city.
