Hisar (हिसार), nicknamed "Education City", is a city in northwestern India in the western part of the state of Haryana, located 160 kilometers west of New Delhi, the capital of India. It is a historic location that started being inhabited centuries ago. It was founded by Firuz Shah Tughlaq in 1354 AD. Hisar is also known as "The City Of Steel" since this industry is very developed there. It is the biggest manufacturer of galvanized iron in the country.
