Milledgeville is a city in Georgia and the seat of Baldwin County, located about 30 miles northeast of Macon. It is the principal city of the Milledgeville Micropolitan Statistical Area. The city lies near the Oconee River and is accessible via U.S. Highway 441, while State Route 22 and State Route 49 also serve the area.

Milledgeville is especially known for its educational institutions, including Central Georgia Technical College, Georgia Military College, and Georgia College & State University. In addition to these well-regarded schools, the city is home to several historic buildings, many green spaces, and a variety of sports facilities.
