Pauls Valley, OK, USA

Pauls Valley is a city in Oklahoma, United States, located about 60 miles south of Oklahoma City. It was named after its founder, Smith Paul, originally from North Carolina, who married a Chickasaw woman and became a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. The city serves as the seat of Garvin County and is situated at the intersection of Interstate 35 and U.S. Route 77. The local economy is mainly based on agriculture, though several small businesses operate in the area. Oil and gas services rank as the region’s second-largest industry.

Pauls Valley is served by the Pauls Valley Amtrak station and Pauls Valley Municipal Airport. The city has two high schools: Pauls Valley High School and Pauls Valley Junior High School. One of its main attractions is The Toy & Action Figure Museum, located at 111 S Chickasaw Street. Opened on October 15, 2005, the museum has drawn visitors from across the country. Other points of interest in Pauls Valley include Pauls Valley Golf Course, Flightline Disc Golf Course, Nora Sparks Warren Memorial Library, Royal Theatre, and Santa Fe Depot.
