Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Noida is a large and densely populated city located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, which was established by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida Authority) in the late 1970s. It is part of a very densely populated urban area that includes the communities of New Delhi, the capital city of the country, as well as other nearby cities such as Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Dadri. This is one of the most crowded urban areas in northern India. Noida has its own considerable metropolitan area, and there is also a newly developing community to the southeast called Greater Noida, which has been growing over the last few decades.

Even though Noida is heavily industrialized and has many business and commercial facilities, it has repeatedly been ranked as one of the best places to live within the National Capital Region (NCR). Located near the Yamuna River, the city is a center of social life and is home to well-planned urban districts providing residents with modern services, amenities, and facilities. Despite not being a coastal city, Noida is known for its hotels and numerous entertainment facilities, including shopping centers and restaurants, mainly concentrated in the central part of the city. Visitors often note the large amount of greenery in Noida, with plenty of trees lining the streets and highways throughout this well-planned city.
