Pipestone is a city in Minnesota, United States, and the seat of Pipestone County. It is located near the state border with South Dakota, in southwestern Minnesota, and 48 miles northeast of Sioux Falls. U.S. Route 75, Minnesota State Highway 23, and Minnesota State Highway 30 are major routes that run through the city. Pipestone Municipal Airport also serves the area. It was incorporated as a city on July 23, 1901. It has many historical landmarks and points of interest.
