Utah Valley University is a large public university situated in the city of Orem, which is in the central part of the state of Utah, USA. It is one of the largest higher educational establishments in the region, founded in 1941 as Central Utah Vocational School. The number of students at UVU exceeds 40,000 (as of 2024), and the number of academic staff comprises approximately 2,000 full-time faculty members and around 1,300 part-time specialists. There is one main campus and five smaller campuses in the university, and the university includes 8 colleges. UVU is a modern and very advanced educational facility, with modern labs, research and study facilities, as well as facilities for sports and cultural development of the community.
