The house is actually in Old Westbury, not sure why they left that area out. The remote scenes, I believe are in the Riverhead area on and off Sound Ave, not sure why that area was left out either.

What scenes were filmed in Katonah?

LI beaches are the best in the world and Old Westbury is amazing. The location map is way off so maybe that’s why some of the posters are confused?

I immediately thought, THATS SUNKEN MEADOW BEACH! It’s on the Long Island Sound. I go there to walk the boardwalk. And it’s a great beach that we brought the kids to when they were little because there are no waves. But as a north shore beach, it’s rocky, so you need water shoes. I also regonized kings park.

The beaches with the stones and sand quality are definitely on the Long Island Sound side….that is the north in the area between St, James and Stony Brook.

I've been going to Sunken Meadow since I was a toddler and can say that beach does look just like that. The shots are all true to Smithtown Bay. The only thing deferent that u noticed is the sand is quite rocky and full of pebbles. Maybe something they removed in post.

It’s 100% Sunken Meadow!

It looks like Martha’s Vineyard to me

I live in NYC long ago. The beaches were nothing like in this movie. Is it real or AI. The beach in the beginning looks like my old town Clearwater Beach, FL. Thanks

Trust me, that is definitely sunken meadow State parking Kings Park, Long Island, New York. It is not NYC at all, and the beaches are a bit different on the Sound in Suffolk County LI. I've internalized every inch of that beach and the associated trails, as I've spent so much time there. Except for the oil tanker, everything was completely real .

Long Island has more natural coastal waterways as just about anywhere. The Long Island Sound made for a perfect setting. While the shore is rocky you don’t get ocean waves. As far as anyone with an opinion that water color defines cleanliness that’s a myth. Clear Blue waters can have just as many if not more environmental problems.

It’s Sunken Meadow Beach in Kings Park. My favorite beach on LI.

The beach is Sunken Meadow state park on the north shore of Long Island.
Also the Main st they are driving down after the beach is Kings Park.

I agree.!! Lol. Long Island is definitely not that beautiful. I've lived here my whole life. Yea the beaches are nice but nothing spectacular. I'd pick nice warm, clean, clear, blue greenish calm waters then long island waters any day!! Florida I'd pick over here any day!
