Downtown Jacksonville is the central business district of Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Located on the banks of the St. Johns River, the area is a busy economic hub and one of the most important commercial centers in northeastern Florida. Downtown Jacksonville is home to numerous major companies, banks, tourist attractions, historic landmarks, event venues, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Many corporate headquarters are located here, including the CSX Transportation Building, which serves as the headquarters of CSX Corporation. The corporate headquarters of EverBank is also located in the Brooklyn area of Downtown Jacksonville.

Downtown Jacksonville is connected by five bridges that cross the St. Johns River, linking different parts of the city. The Fuller Warren Bridge carries Interstate 95 traffic through the downtown area, while the St. Elmo W. Acosta Bridge carries six lanes of State Road 13, along with two sidewalks and two monorail tracks. The Main Street Bridge was the second bridge constructed across the river. The Isaiah David Hart Bridge and the Mathews Bridge also serve the downtown area and connect it with surrounding neighborhoods.

Downtown Jacksonville consists of several districts, including the Central Core, Southbank, LaVilla, the Entertainment & Sports District, the Cathedral District, and Brooklyn. The Entertainment & Sports District is home to many important sports and concert venues, such as EverBank Stadium, Daily’s Place Amphitheater, VyStar Ballpark, and VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The Central Core contains numerous points of interest, ranging from cultural attractions like the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville to some of the tallest skyscrapers in the city. This district is home to business towers, government offices, and other financial institutions.
