Robertson County is one of the administrative units of Texas, the southern USA. The county can be found in the central part of the state, and it is a home to about 16.5 thousand people. Named after a local political and social activist Sterling Robertson, the county was formed in the middle of the 19th century and the county seat was the town of Franklin. In the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century the population of the county was close to 30,000 people since the area was developing as a modern agricultural community. However, starting from the middle of the 20th century the number of residents of the state began decreasing since more and more young people started having a tendency to moving to large cities.
