Warren, Ohio: Seat of Trumbull County

Warren is a city in northeastern Ohio, United States, located on the banks of the Mahoning River, about 56 miles southeast of Cleveland and 82 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is the seat of Trumbull County. Known as the Historic Capital of the Western Reserve, Warren was founded by Ephraim Quinby in 1798. The city is part of the Mahoning Valley metropolitan area and is served by U.S. Route 422.

Warren offers several points of interest. The National Packard Museum, opened on July 4, 1999, is located at 1899 Mahoning Ave NW near Packard Music Hall and features original Packard automobiles and artifacts related to the Packard family and companies. Packard Music Hall, at 1703 Mahoning Ave NW, hosts theater productions, concerts, and other events. Nearby, Packard Park provides a peaceful green space for locals, along with a few other natural escapes in the city.

Robins Theatre, a historic venue at 160 E Market Street, sits in the heart of downtown Warren. The Elm Road Triple Drive-In Theatre, located at 1895 Elm Road NE, is a popular spot featuring double films on three screens. The Harriet Taylor Upton House, at 380 Mahoning Avenue NW, is a U.S. National Historic Landmark that was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 5, 1992. It served as the headquarters of Upton’s National American Woman’s Suffrage Association in the early 20th century.
