The Godfather is an American crime-drama film about the Corleone mafia family in New York. It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola based on Mario Puzo's novel of the same name, and won 3 Oscars in 1973 including "Best Picture". It stars Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Richard S. Castellano in the film. The movie premiered on March 15, 1972, at Loew's State Theatre.
