The film follows the story of William Munny, a retired outlaw who takes on one last job with his partner Ned and a young man known as the “Schofield Kid”. Unforgiven was released in the United States on August 7, 1992, grossed $159.2 million worldwide, and won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
