Nosferatu (2024) is a gothic horror film directed and written by Robert Eggers. This American remake is inspired by the 1922 silent German classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror by Henrik Galeen and Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula. The movie stars Bill Skarsgård as the infamous vampire, alongside Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, Simon McBurney, and Ralph Ineson. Released by Focus Features on December 25, 2024, in the United States, this is the second remake of the original Nosferatu film.
Where Was Nosferatu (2024) Filmed?
The primary filming location for Nosferatu was Barrandov Studios in Prague, Czech Republic. Several iconic scenes were also shot on location across Europe to capture the gothic tone of the film. Zámek Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, a medieval Gothic castle from the 13th century, was used for key sequences. The exteriors of Count Orlok’s castle were filmed at Castelul Corvinilor (Corvins' Castle) in Romania. The historic Invalidovna complex in Prague also served as a filming location.

What a shame. Reshoot the greatest vampire movie that was ever made in Germany and don’t use the original locations. Some of the places still look like they did 100 years ago. I don’t understand why.

The bridge going to the castle in the Trailer looked very much, though, like the castle in Hunedoara.
