Filming locations also include Holy Island in Berwick-upon-Tweed and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The opening scene was filmed at Saint Mary & Saint Finnan Church in Glenfinnan. Filming also took place at Plankey Mill Farm, Cheddar Gorge, and Aysgarth Falls.
