Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was shot in Italy, Tunisia, and England. Filming also took place at Leavesden Studios and Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, the UK. Reggia di Caserta in Italy was used as the Naboo Royal Palace in the film.
