The film also takes inspiration from "Old Man Logan" by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. It was premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival on February 17, 2017, released on March 3, 2017 (United States), earned $619 million worldwide and nominated for an Oscar. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Logan was mostly shot in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi.
